CloutProof
CloutProof is a mobile-first fact-checking programme designed for short, straight-to-the-point verification on the move. As a Progressive Web App, it installs to the home screen, caches recent checks and essential tips for offline use, and refreshes quietly when connectivity returns, ensuring access in low-data environments.
Each claim is presented as a three-line card: Claim, Fact, and Verdict, with clear badges for False, Misleading, Manipulated or True, and optional quick tips in English, Pidgin and local languages. The format helps young audiences share “receipts” rather than rumours, while preserving privacy and avoiding heavy data use.
CloutProof complements Oak Centre’s broadcast work by putting verified information, and the skills to assess it, directly into users’ hands.
